PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor system having a tensioning device capable of maintaining the tensioning of a conveying means in a constructively easy and effective manner. SOLUTION: The conveyor system 1 comprises a continuously rotating conveying means 2 on which a plurality of fixing devices 3 for articles 4 to be conveyed are disposed. The conveyor system 1 allows a retensioning of the conveying means 2 in a constructively easy manner. To this end, the conveying means 2 runs about at least three deflection rollers 6, wherein a transfer station 11 for transferring the articles 4 to the fixing device 3 is provided on a first stationary deflection roller 6a and a second deflection roller 6b is embodied as a tensioning device 7 for the conveying means 2 and is movable to deflect the conveying means 2.
