<p>The box has a cover unit for closing a loading space of a base body (18), where the cover unit is held at the base body. The cover unit is fixed at a center console (10) by a bearing part (15) of a pivot bearing. The pivot bearing displaces the base body from a base position (A) to an end position (C) and backwards around a pivoting axis. A retaining arm (14) is formed as a lever arm and provided between the base body and the pivoting axis of the pivoting bearing. The retainer arm is formed with the basebody in a single piece.</p>
