<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile and highly efficient personal identification system, and to provide its method. <P>SOLUTION: The personal identification system includes: at least one server 3 having a personal information database for personal identification; at least one information registration terminal 2 for registering personal information in the personal information database; and at least one enterprise terminal 4 for performing access to the server in order to identify the person, which are mutually connected via a network.
