PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry composition for forming an electrolyte holding plate for manufacturing the electrolyte holding plate made of lithium aluminate by using water solvent; to provide a green sheet for forming the electrolyte holding plate; to provide an electrolyte holding plate using them; and to provide the manufacturing method of them.

SOLUTION: The slurry composition for forming the electrolyte holding plate contains α-lithium aluminate, a water soluble binder, and water, and is pH 10-13. The water soluble binder is at least one kind of methylcellulose and polyvinyl alcohol.
