PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance multiphoton absorption efficiency of a multiphoton absorption organic material by three-dimensionally utilizing a localized plasmon enhanced field generated by metal fine particles and to provide a functional device utilizing the same and having excellent sensitivity characteristics.

SOLUTION: The mixture is composed at least of: the multiphoton absorption organic material; the metal fine particles for generating the located plasmon enhanced field; and a dispersant suppressing electron movement between the multiphoton absorption organic material and the metal fine particles generating the located plasmon enhanced field.
