<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a top-bottom reversed printing to be detected at a good precision without requiring a space for printing a solid mark. <P>SOLUTION: This top-bottom reversed printing sensing apparatus is installed on a single-sheet printer which performs printing on the printing surface on one surface of a single sheet 8, and senses the top-bottom reversed printing for which the vertical directions of pictures on the printing surface and an already printed surface on the opposite side from the printing surface are opposite. The top-bottom reversed printing sensing apparatus is constituted by being equipped with an image sensor 10 and a judging means 22. In this case, the image sensor 10 photographs a specified location on the already printed surface of the leaf paper 8 which is passed through the leaf paper printer. The judging means 22 compares the photographed image data on the already printed surface of the single sheet which has been photographed by the image sensor with criteria image data which serve as judging criteria, and judges the top-bottom reversed printing to the photographed single sheet when the data agreement degree between the photographed image data and the criteria image data is not more than a predetermined agreement threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
