<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top emission-type organic EL display in which a chemically stable conductive film containing ITO can be used in a lower electrode of an organic EL layer. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL layer of this organic EL display comprises: an electron injecting layer 111; an electron transporting layer 112; a light emitting layer 113; a hole transporting layer 114; and a hole injecting layer 115, wherein in an upper electrode 12, an IZO film as a transparent electrode is used; a lower electrode 9 has a bilayer structure; in a lower layer, Al or an alloy thereof having a high reflection rate is used; and in an upper layer, a chemically stable ITO film is used. For enabling the electron injection from the ITO as the lower electrode 9, a film produced by co-evaporating Li and Alq3 in a molecular ratio of 3:1 is used in the electron injecting layer 111. By this constitution, a top emission-type organic EL display capable of injecting the electron from the ITO film, can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
