<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument which can be used using a small cannula and is designed to comprise a combination of small, simple, and cost benefit-high dipoles and monopoles, and further comprises an instrument body that contains an assembly for generating and releasing a mechanically beneficial working power to reduce the labor of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument comprises an endoscopic forceps having a chest mounted to a shaft, wherein the shaft comprises a pair of jaws positioned at the distal end.
