PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator of digital control capable of controlling to compensate a system delay with no complicated calculation. SOLUTION: An output voltage Vout is sampled at a sampling part 21 (step S3). Deviation between a reference voltage Vref and the output voltage Vout is acquired (step S4). Based on the deviation, deviation e (t+1) at the next cycle is acquired by linear prediction (step S5). Based on the predicted deviation (t+1) of the next cycle, a control signal is generated for controlling pulse widths of drive signals applied to switching elements Q1 and Q2 (step S7). In this processing, a read-ahead control amount by gives a compensation effect for recovering a delayed time, thereby suppressing phase rotation at a high frequency band to keep stability in operation.
