摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor wheel conditions relative to a wheel at an appropriate frequency. SOLUTION: A wheel condition monitoring system includes a wheel condition changing means for monitoring the wheel condition by TPMS valves 20 and a wheel information processing device communicating information therebetween, and changing the wheel condition. The TPMS valve 20 has an air pressure sensor 21 for detecting the wheel condition, a wheel-side transmitter 22 for transmitting the wheel condition as wheel information, and a control circuit 23 for changing a frequency of each operation to be performed from the detection of the wheel condition to the transmission of the wheel information. The wheel information processing device includes a vehicle-body-side receiver 25 for receiving the wheel information transmitted from the TPMS valves 20, and an ECU 30 for estimating conditions of the wheels provided with the TPMS valves 20 based on the wheel information. If a predetermined change in the wheel condition is detected, the ECU 30 changes the present frequency of at least any one of the operations after the completion of the predetermined change.
