PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following easily developable problematic points (1) to (3) that are (1) the development of poor transfer of ink and staining of a printed material due to the employment of dampening water containing no IPA (or isopropylene alcohol), (2) excess emulsification of ink in the controlling and replenishing method of the dampening water due to pH value as an index, and (3) the development of the staining of the printed material in the fixed amount replenishment of the dampening water. SOLUTION: The solution is to replenish the dampening water replenishing solution composition for lithographic printing mainly made of acid aqueous solution so as to bring the pH value of the dampening water into a certain range in parallel with the replenishment of the dampening water apart from the replenishment of the dampening water onto a printing machine.
