PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underlaying tape for wall paper stack cutting, which can guide a sure overlap state without hardly damaging a foundation wall surface, and ensuring a satisfactory adhered state to the foundation wall surface while facilitating removal of the tape after cutting. SOLUTION: The underlaying tape for wall paper overlap cutting comprises a plain woven fabric of synthetic resin-made warp yarns and synthetic resin-made weft yarns as a main body cloth, the weft yarns being arranged at predetermined intervals between adjacent yarns.
