PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-proof structure which enables the easy construction of a barrier layer for surely preventing harmful insects from entering a building from soil, without the use of a chemical agent and without laborious works. SOLUTION: In this insect-proof structure, the barrier layer 3 for preventing the harmful insects from entering is formed to wholly or partially cover a soil surface S under a floor of the building. The barrier layer 3 is composed of the cement-solidified soil which is obtained by mixing cement into the soil under the floor of the building and on the periphery of the building and rolling theron.
