PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-preventive safety helmet for preventing increase of inside temperature of the safety helmet by blocking heat ray from the outside. SOLUTION: In the safety helmet, an inorganic spherical particles-containing heat ray-blocking coating 2 is applied e.g. in a coated film thickness of 100μm to the outside surface of a helmet 1. The inorganic spherical particles-containing heat ray-blocking coating 2 is a polymer composite material to which inorganic spherical particles are added and the coating 2 reflects about≥85% of radiation energy of direct rays which outside surface of the helmet 1 receives and suppresses release of radiation energy to the inside of the helmet 1 to≤15%. As a result, in the safety helmet 1, increase of inside temperature of the helmet 1 is prevented and a heat-insulating layer is not formed and when the outside surface temperature of the helmet 1 is reduced to a temperature not higher than the inside temperature by external factor, heat energy is released to the outside without accumulating the heat energy and the inside temperature can be lowered.
