PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a model of various types of instrument by one flow rate measuring means by composing an instrument information display means in the flow rate measuring means. SOLUTION: A flow rate measuring device 26 is provided with: the flow rate measuring means 27; an instrument information storing means 28 for storing characteristic flow rate features per piece of instrument in association with inspection or service life information; an instrument specifying means 29 for patternizing flow rate change determined by the flow rate measuring means 27, comparing it with the flow rate features of the instrument information storing means 28, and specifying a piece of instrument; a time integrating means 30 for measuring and integrating the operation time in correspondence to each piece of instrument specified by the instrument specifying means 29; and a control means 36 for comparing the integrated time per instrument of the time integrating means 30 with the inspection or service life information of the instrument information storing means. When the control means 36 determines that the time for inspection or service life has been reached in a comparison result of the integrated time per instrument with the inspection or service life information, inspection information or replacement information is outputted.
