<p>The production of laminated glass panes useful as e.g. safety glass in vehicles and buildings, comprises overlapping two glass plates (12, 14) to be connected alternatively with a foil layer (16) to a glass package (10), heating the glass package to fix the glass plates in the heated portion relative to the foil, transporting the glass package to a molding fixture, and connecting the glass packages. The glass plates are laminated under vacuum and melting of the foil layer. The heating of the glass plates is carried out before, during or after overlapping by foil emitters.
