PROCESS FOR TREATING YARNS, FABRICS OR TEXTILE ARTICLES OF NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL PROTEIN OR CELLULOSIC FIBERS AND BLENDS THEREOF WITH SYNTHETIC FIBERS

The present invention relates to the field of processes for dyeing fabrics or textile articles in protein or cellulosic fibers and in particular to obtain different shades on the two faces of a fabric. The process involves subjecting at least a face of a fabric in protein fibers to UV radiation before the dyeing step or after the dyeing step in the case of fabrics of natural or synthetic cellulose fibers. The surface can be exposed to UV irradiation as a whole or selecting some preferential areas by means of: particular arrangement of the fabric; carrying out of effects obtained by screen or cylinder printing, by spraying, with a brush or a pad, of products adapted to filter or accelerate the action of UV radiation on fibers or on dye, in order to create areas of different shades on the fibers in the areas which correspond to the above treatments.
