The invention relates to a central pillar structure (1) for an automotive vehicle, that comprises a central pillar reinforcement (2) and a liner (3) connected together and a central pillar shock reinforcement (4), characterised in that the central pillar shock reinforcement comprises a first rebate (6) connected to the central pillar reinforcement as well as a flange (9) extending essentially perpendicularly to the central pillar reinforcement and longitudinally relative to the central pillar structure and connecting the first rebate to a second rebate (5) essentially parallel to the first one.
