A method for editing a local information medium is provided to link different information media such as a local living newspaper, magazine, and phonebook, and improve efficiency of functions of each information medium by applying a map to an index of the local information medium. A local transportation map(2) is added for displaying contents(4), such as AD(ADvertisement)/PR(Public Relation), and an index. An information title including a location and a shop name, and a serial index number of shops included in the contents are added to the local transportation map in relation with a road network by using various kinds of symbols, colors, and characters. The serial index number is added to a part of the information title of the contents. An index section(3) and a serial ID code are vertically and horizontally added on the local transportation map, and corresponding coordinates are added to the contents. |
