A method is provided in various embodiments for determining a profile dat a set for a subject with colorectal cancer or conditions related to colorect al cancer based on a sample from the subject, wherein the sample provides a source of RNAs. The method includes using amplification for measuring the am ount of RNA corresponding to at least 1 constituent from Tables 1-5. The pro file data set comprises the measure of each constituent, and amplification i s performed under measurement conditions that are substantially repeatable.< /SDOAB>
