<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately estimate the phosphoric acid retention amount of a porous substrate and facilitate the long life in a unit cell constituted by interposing a matrix retaining phosphoric acid between a fuel electrode catalyst layer and an air electrode catalyst layer, arranging an electrode substrate so as to come in contact with these catalyst layers, and arranging the porous substrate on the outside of the electrode substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The unit cell is manufactured by incorporating only the porous substrates having a gas permeability amount of 100-500 mm*ml/h/cm<SP>2</SP>/mmAq. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
