<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change imaging function, or the like, according to individual user, or his taste, or according to the conditions in imaging equipment. <P>SOLUTION: When the user carries out imaging using an imaging system, setting information is selected according to the identification result of the individual user, the date and time, the location, user selection, or user's physical or emotional situations. Imaging operation setting is performed, based on the selected setting information. The setting information includes parameters or functional specifications related, to the imaging operation and software for the operation related to the imaging.
