<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial data receiving circuit and serial data receiving method in which a bit permutation in a data bit group of serial data serially transferred continuously for each data bit group can be interconverted in LSB first and MSB first manners. <P>SOLUTION: To converters C1-C8, eight kinds of bit streams BS1-BS8 each having a bit length of 32 bits are inputted while shifting a top bit start position for each bit. The converters C1-C8 perform converting operation to invert each 8 bits of the bit streams BS1-BS8 from a top bit. In matching circuits D1-D8, a synchronizing pattern RS and the bit streams BS1-BS8 are compared. A selector circuit 60 extracts any one of order bit streams HCBS1-HCBS8 from a bit stream subjected to matching, and then outputs it as detection data FD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
