<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method and a mounter of a component in which the image of a required component can be read out effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The image of each component is read out by moving a line sensor relatively to a plurality of components chucked by a chucking head. The read image is image-processed, and each component is mounted at a predetermined position of a substrate based on the image processing. When the image of each component read out by the movement of the line sensor relative to the component is written in a memory, the write of the image read in predetermined section to the memory is inhibited, and the image written in the memory is image-processed to position each component so as to mount the component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
