<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of restraining the return of trapped dust to a liquid pressure circuit in replacing an element. <P>SOLUTION: The filter 30 is equipped with the element 32 and a lid mechanism 34. The element 32 is of a barrel type with an element inflow aperture 43 which introduces a liquid to be filtered to the inside, opened at one end of the element 32. In addition, the element 32 traps dust contained in a hydraulic oil L1 to be filtered by the passage of the hydraulic oil L1 to be filtered from inside to outside.
