<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial nail that can give a natural feeling when the user wears it on the natural nail. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial nail (110) comprises stacked layers of a lower layer (112) and an upper layer (114), and the thickness of one end (116) of the artificial nail (110) to be attached to the user's natural nail at the root is thinner than that of the other end (118) of the artificial nail. According to this artificial nail (110), since the thickness of the one end (116) of the artificial nail (110) to be attached to the root of the natural nail is made thinner than the thickness of the other end (118), the artificial nail does not give the user an awkward feeling, but gives a natural feeling when the user wears it on his natural nail.
