<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reduction structure for a steering column that can reduce vibration without applying a frictional resistance to a steering shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A jacket tube 11 is formed with an opening 11a, and supporting portions 24 are fixedly attached to both end edge portions of the opening 11a in the axial direction. A roller 2 is made of an elastic material 23, an outer surface of which has damping property. The two end portions of a rotation spindle 21 of the roller 2 are supportedly inserted into supporting openings 24a formed in the supporting portions 24.
