PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nucleic acid probe for classification of pathogenic bacterial species or genera, which is capable of collectively detecting bacterial strains of the same genus irrespective of strains and differentially detecting them from bacterial species of other genera so as to detect the gene of the genes of bacterium of the genus Acinetobacter.

SOLUTION: Any one or specific sequences and complementary sequences thereof or a combination of two or more of them is used as a probe for detecting the gene of bacterium of the genus Acinetobacter being an infectious disease pathogenic bacterium.
