PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting clip which is configured so as to make its part, which serves as a contact with a conductive member, harder to deform plastically than usual. SOLUTION: The surface-mounting clip 1 is equipped with low-stiffness projections 5a to 5d, which are pressed against the plate-like part of the conductive member with elastic deformation when they interpose the plate-like part provided to the conductive member between them, and high-stiffness projections 7a and 7b which are higher in stiffness than the low-stiffness projections 5a to 5d and hardly deformed. When an excessive stress is applied from the conductive member, the stress is caught by the high-stiffness projections 7a and 7b to prevent the plate-like part from being displaced, so that the low-stiffness projections 5a to 5d can be prevented from being plastically deformed with the displacement of the plate-like part.
