PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which does not have a bad effect on an adjacent electronic device but releases internally generated heat to the outside when fitted to a fitting rail, and can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The electronic device 100 includes camera interfaces 108 and 109 on a top face 100d, a liquid crystal panel 101 and a setting button 102 on a front face 100a, a power interface 106 and measuring control signal I/O interface 104 and 105 on a lower face 100b, and a fan 150 therein. The fan 150 releases internal heat to the outside space through an opening 107 on a side face 100f. The outside space near the opening 107 is covered with a duct 500, which alters the direction of heat to cause it to flow in a direction different from a direction of extension of the fitting rail 400.
