PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately analyze a component concentration in a range from a low concentration to a high concentration regardless of an increase or a decrease in the quantity of a specimen. SOLUTION: A reagent blank of an analytical curve constant is corrected in response to the increase or the decrease in the quantity of the specimen. A concentration of an analyzed item is calculated based on the reagent blank correction value Eb', the analytical curve constant K<SB>10</SB>and absorbance data Ex of a reaction liquid. As a result, an automatic analyzer and its method are constituted, and can accurately analyze the component concentration in the range from the low concentration to the high concentration regardless of the increase or the decrease in the quantity of the specimen.
