PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of constructing ditches in a shoulder part and a center line part on an asphalt paved road surface at a predetermined interval efficiently. SOLUTION: In a self-propelled vehicle 1 provided with a vehicle body 2 and a steel wheel 3, the steel wheel 3 is attached to move in the right and left directions of the vehicle 1, can move in the vertical direction, and can be fixed to an upper part at the center. This road surface ditch forming device is constituted in such a way that projecting parts 4 are provided on a peripheral face of the steel wheel 3, are provided at an interval between an end part in the direction of width of the steel wheel 3 and an end part in the direction of width of the projecting part 4, and are detachably attached to the steel wheel 3.
