PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheathing material mounting fitting which can prevent breakage of an end of a sheathing material even if joint plywood is deflected. SOLUTION: The sheathing material mounting fitting is formed of: a fixing plate 2; an engaging portion protruding from the fitting plate 2, and having a tip portion 5 engaging with a groove formed at an edge of the sheathing material; and screw holes 4 formed in the fixing plate 2, and each allowing a screw to be inserted therein when the fixing plate 2 is screw-fastened to a building skeleton. In the sheathing material mounting fitting, by forming notches 7 in the fixing plate 2 that is located at a bottom of the engaging portion 3, a bottom portion 6 of the engaging portion 3 is formed narrower in width than the tip portion 5 of the engaging portion 3. Thus by the notches 7, leg portions 8 each being narrower in width than the fixing plate 2 are formed in the fixing plate 2, and the screw holes 4 are formed in the leg portions 8, respectively.
