PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening-closing device of a vehicle door capable of further surely avoiding a collision of a door and an obstacle, while securing convenience of a user. SOLUTION: This opening-closing device is provided with a door opening regulating means 20 capable of regulating a maximum opening-closing angle of the door 2 arranged in a vehicle 1, and a getting-on-and-off operation detecting means 71 capable of detecting getting-off operation and getting-on operation of an occupant based on an operation state of the door 2. The door opening regulating means 20 regulates the maximum opening-closing angle of the door 2 in a first angle smaller than a full opening angle of the door 2 when detecting the getting-off operation of the occupant by the getting-on-and-off operation detecting means, and regulates the maximum opening-closing angle of the door 2 in a second angle larger than the first angle when detecting the getting-on operation of the occupant by the getting-on-and-off operation detecting means.
