PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product treating agent which has a high flexible effect and can sufficiently exhibit the characteristic hand unique to a silicone. SOLUTION: This fiber product treating agent comprises (a) a silicone compound and (b) a polymer having a weight-average mol.wt. of 3,000-100,000 and comprising monomer-constituting units (b1) originated from a specific compound of general formula (1) and monomer-constituting units (b2) originated from a specific compound capable of copolymerizing with a compound of general formula (1) and having a tertiary amino group or its acid salt or its quaternized product in a specific molar ratio, in a (a)/(b) mass ratio of 50/50 to 95/5.
