PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted string capable of preventing the occurrence of twist reversion, without limiting its use, and excellent in mechanical strength. SOLUTION: This twisted string consisting of a flat yarn 2 formed with projecting lines 1 in its length direction is provided preferably with 5 to 25 lines of the number of projecting lines per 6 mm width of the flat yarn. By making the twisted yarn with the flat yarn, it is possible to reduce the twist reversion and also improve further its mechanical strength. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
