PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maskant tool which can simply and cheaply mask the inner diameter part of a product not to be carried out a surface treatment while it can also correspond to the product of a different shape. SOLUTION: The maskant tool masks an unnecessary area in the surface treatment when the product 10 of a cylindrical member is surface treated, wherein the maskant tool has a cylindrical elastic member 21 to be inserted into a cylinder of the product 10 and a rodlike member 22 which is inserted into a hole part of the elastic member 21 and pushes the outer surface of the elastic member 21 into the cylinder of the product 10. The elastic member contains also a first elastic member and a second elastic member and the rodlike member contains a first rodlike member and a second rodlike member.
