A reusable candle system comprising, (a) a shell having an outer wall surface, an upper surface and a lower surface and an interior wall defining an aperture extending through the shell from an upper opening in the top surface to a lower opening in the lower surface, the interior surface of the upper opening having a collar, (b) a raiser plate having an upper surface of complementary shape to at least a portion of the collar, wherein in use a replaceable candle is located intermediate the raiser plate and the collar, the raiser plate acting to urge the candle against the collar such that substantially the entire wax portion of the candle can be burnt in a controlled manner and substantially without leakage of molten wax between the candle and the interior wall. |
