The probe head (10) has a resonance system including a probe (24) vibratory for a core resonance frequency and for an electron resonance frequency. The resonance system is formed as a hollow space resonator (12) vibratory with the electron resonance frequency. A cylindrical wall (14) of the resonator is provided with slots (16), where the slots run parallel to a wall current of a microwave field. The slots are provided narrowly in proportion to a wavelength of the microwave field. The slots in the wall define a loop-gap-resonator vibratory with the core resonance frequency.
