<p>A portable cooking apparatus (80) is light, packable, compatible with back-country hiking, and is multi-functional for use over a heat source (117). An arm (6) of the apparatus (80) may elongate and shorten and may have an attachment system (8) on the arm that allows the attachment of a plurality of food and drink holding attachments (10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19). The attachments (10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19) may be coupled to a strap (26) connected to a handle (3). The handle (3) may include a compartment (27) for holding parts of the apparatus (80) or other articles so that the apparatus (80) may be disassembled and stowed. A rotisserie mode enables rotation of food over an open flame. A rotisserie handle (33) can be releasably coupled to the apparatus handle (3). The rotisserie handle (33) can be placed in a locked condition to prevent rotation in a variety of cooking positions. A pivoting arm stabilizer (129) enables cooking food to be horizontally pivoted to and from the heat source (117).</p> |
