The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a double-sided mirror of an automobile that automatically changes a plane mirror to a multi-surface mirror with a wide viewing angle by actuating a double-sided mirror simultaneously with a left or right indicator to minimize a blind spot that is not shown from a side mirror and prevent an accident while turning, changing the lane, or backing the automobile. An apparatus for controlling a double-sided mirror of an automobile according to an embodiment of the invention, comprises: a left double-sided mirror whose plane mirror is mounted on one side of a rotary bracket; a right double-sided mirror whose plane mirror is mounted on one side of a rotary bracket; a left and right indicator switch that turns on a left or a right indicator; a left/right 180° rotary motor that is connected to the indicator switch; and a microcomputer that receives a left or right indicator signal generated by operation of the indicator switch and controls the 180° rotary motor to normally or reversely rotate at 180°.
