<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can be more miniaturized by simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a low pass filter 23 arranged in an optical path between a CCD package 11 including a CCD and a photographing optical system and a CCD holder 25 for holding the CCD package 11 and the low pass filter 23. The imaging apparatus is provided with: also a sheet-like fixing sheet 21 having an aperture corresponding to the optical path to the CCD, an inner peripheral part surrounding the periphery of the aperture and an outer peripheral part surrounding the inner peripheral part; a filter receiving face 25a abutting on the low pass filter 23; and a sheet receiving face 25b formed with a step so as to be projected from the filter receiving face 25a to the CCD package 11 side and abutting on the fixing sheet 21.
