<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting system capable of emitting light of a desired color temperature with a simple structure, and of enhancing light utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by including: a light source having at least one LED chip emitting blue light from a light emitting surface; a transparent light guide plate having a light entering surface for entering the light emitted from the light source, and a light emitting surface emitting the light entered from the light entering surface as planar light; and a fluorescent member arranged between the light emitting surface of the light source and the light entering surface, and having a phosphor application part converting the blue light emitted from the light emitting surface of the light source to white light to emit it, and a blue light transmitting part emitting the blue light emitted from the light emitting surface of the light source as blue light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
