<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device achieving a proper running according to a present situation by predicting future vehicle operation performed by a driver from a vehicle situation stored in association with past vehicle operation of the driver. <P>SOLUTION: When a forward vehicle running in front of one's own vehicle is detected, this driving support device starts a learning system, detects a state of the own vehicle and surroundings of the own vehicle by a forward radar device 3, various kinds of sensors or the like (S5, S6), stores them in association with the vehicle operation of the driver, in a learning information DB 8 accumulatively (S8). The driving support device predicts whether the driver changes a lane later from a learning result thereof and the present vehicle state (S14), and suppresses the lane change from being disturbed such as lane keep assist control, cruise control or the like when it is predicted that the lane change is performed (S16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
