<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless headphone system which recognizes left and right attachment states of a headphone device to be able to output sounds by automatically switching L/R channels and is capable of achieving sound output of high quality, with respect to the wireless headphone system which digitally modulates stereo sound signals played back by a sound player and transmits the modulated stereo sound signals to the headphone device by wireless communication (especially, infrared communication) to output sounds. <P>SOLUTION: In the wireless headphone system, the headphone device determines an attachment direction of the headphone device on the basis of error rates of radio signals detected by an error detection means and sets respective output destinations (a first or second sound output part) of digitally demodulated left and right sound signals in accordance with the determined attachment direction, and stereo sound signals obtained by demodulating a radio signal having a lower error rate are outputted to the first or second sound output part on the basis of the error rates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
