PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow smooth start without causing engine stop even when many unspecified drivers roughly carry out start operation in a manual transmission vehicle and allow engine torque operation without uncomfortable feeling responsive to accelerator operation.
SOLUTION: An engine rotation speed drop involved by engagement of a clutch is detected as a trigger for starting control, an engine rotation speed when triggering is set as a target rotation speed and the rotation speed feedback control is performed with engine torque used as an operation variable. Ignition retard and fuel cut are used as an operating means for engine torque in addition to air-intake operation by an electric control throttle. With the application of rotation speed F/B control, in engagement of the clutch, just enough torque assist is possible for inhibiting the engine rotation speed drop to the minimum.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
