PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which is advantageous in easily and securely mounting and demounting an accessory device on or behind a main body unit by performing engagement and disengagement of a connector for the accessory device side with a connector for the main body unit side. SOLUTION: An operation lever 32 is placed at a first swing position P1 and a slider 30 for accessory device movement is placed at an engagement/disengagement position P3. The accessory device is positioned so that an engagement block 1834 for the accessory device faces the cut 2224 of a fitting portion 22, and the accessory device is put closer to a bottom wall part 2202. Consequently, the raised portion 3004 of a slider 30 for accessory device movement is engaged with the engagement groove 1820 of a movement block 1822 for the accessory device. The operation lever 32 is swung from the first swing position P1 to a second swing position P2 to position the accessory device and the slider 30 for accessory device movement at a coupling position P4.
