PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comfort people in a room by controlling an air direction according to the conditions of a living room where an air conditioner is installed, regarding the air conditioner provided with an air direction changing blade for controlling an air direction. SOLUTION: The air conditioner has the air direction changing blade 4 controlling the direction of air blown out from a blowout port 2; a driving means 6 moving the air direction changing blade 4; a control means 7 controlling the driving means 6; and a driving range instructing means 8 instructing the driving range of the air direction changing blade 4.
