PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair to be easily operated and easily assembled, excellent in the certainty in adjusting the position of a lumber support. SOLUTION: The chair comprises a seat part 2 on which a seated person is seated, a cushion part 42, and a backrest part 40 having a backrest body 41 with openings 41a on both side edges and the lumber support 100 held between the rear of the cushion part 42 and the front of the backrest body 41 for supporting the back of the seated person. The lumber support 100 comprises a sheet-shaped body part 101; grip parts 102 parallel to the body part 101 in the left/right directions, which are slackly fitted in the openings 41a in such a way as movable in the vertical direction, and at least part of which projects from each opening 41a; and connection parts 103 connecting both ends of the body part 101 to the grip parts 102 in such a way that the grip parts 102 are located under the body part 101.
