PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chlorinated or partially chlorinated carbonyl compound, which is an inexpensive method and overcomes defects of a conventional technology and is capable of producing the product with a high selectivity and high purity. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the chlorinated or partially chlorinated carbonyl compound, an unchlorinated or partially chlorinated carbonyl compound is reacted with a chlorinating agent in a jet-loop type reactor.
